I’m constantly trying to come up with innovative ideas with my art. I feel art has the quality to be used in various forms, and not only as visual representation. When art is transcribed to a product, the result is can be superficial if there is not motive behind that design. With this design, the idea is to take apart the floral and conventionally feminine features from flip flops - and reinvent it into something powerful, and pardon the pun, impactful. The problem being solved here is age old, reinventing a classic style into something edgy that i would personally buy. This is a mood, an idea and above all a statement.
